I thoroughly enjoyed the first book with its rich emotional depth and juxtaposition of darkness and light. While the second book may not have had as much intensity, it was an important installment in uncovering Fallon’s journey towards becoming the ultimate solution. Though it contained battles and magic, I was left wanting more. I eagerly anticipate the third book, the concluding chapter that promises to deliver it all.
